Bruin Theater |(Westwood, CA)
Mann's Bruin Theatre was built in 1937 and opened in 1938. At the time of its opening, nearby UCLA had grown into a thriving campus and the theatre was named in honor of the school's mascot. The Bruin was originally part of the Fox Theatres circuit. The Bruin is directly across the street from its sister theatre, the Village Fox Theater.
Over the years, the Village and the Bruin have become favorite sites for star-studded movie premieres. The Bruin's beautifully designed entrance makes a great background for these spectacular events.
