Bob Hope Patriotic Hall | (Los Angeles, CA)
The 10 story Patriotic Hall, located in Downtown Los Angeles, opened its doors to the public in 1926. The building was constructed in support of the Grand Army of Republic, and served veterans of the Indian Wars, Spanish American War and World War I. In 2004, it was rededicated in honor of Bob Hope, and given the name, Bob Hope Patriotic Hall. The Bob Hope Patriotic Hall houses numerous military memorabilia artifacts, and important documents dating back to the American Revolution, and continuing to the current Middle East Conflict. Although currently closed to the public, the Bob Hope Patriotic Hall will reopen in mid 2012 and will be occupied by at least seven veteran organizations.
